We’re Hiring – Designer

Glorious Creative need a great Designer to get stuck in.

We’re looking for a great designer to join the Glorious team in our city-centre Manchester studio.

A decent person who knows what they’re doing; you’ll have had 3-4 years’ experience working in design across different projects: branding, digital, websites and print. You’ll love coming up with good ideas, while being just as capable of honing in on the details. Sociable, you’ll like chatting with clients, giving them a bell when needed and making sure jobs are done on time and on budget.

You’ll be joining a design team of committed creatives in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. We’ve been going for 25 years, and want someone who’s up for getting stuck into the next 25.

Key requirements

– 3-4 years design experience

– Motivated and good at keeping your own time and organising your projects

– Excellent understanding of tools like Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma etc

– An eye for detail, able to proof your own work

– Collaborative and willing to work with and learn from other team members

– Experience in creative thinking, brand identity design, digital design, print and art-working

– Curiosity for all-kinds of clients, willingness to immerse yourself in their worlds

– Good communication skills (written and verbal), comfortable in front of clients

Nice to have

– After Effects/animation experience

– If there’s an area of design you’re especially good at, we’d love to hear about it

What we offer

– Up to £30k salary depending on experience

– 25 days holidays a year plus bank holidays
